Therasa has worked in Family Law team for more than a decade, beginning her career in the Law as a paralegal, going onto to enrolling on the CILEx course in order to train as a legal executive, graduating in 2013. During this time, she worked predominantly on child protection matters, focusing on both private and public law cases.
Throughout her career, Therasa has represented a wide range of clients, including local authorities, parents, grandparents and extended family members. Currently, her focus is on Local Authority matters and works closely with social workers, building strong relationships and providing pragmatic and clear advice, her areas of specialism being Care proceedings (inc. pre proceedings), contact disputes/child arrangement orders, discharge of care proceedings, adoption, special Guardianship Orders and NAI and FII
Therasa has worked on a number of complex family matters including non-accidental Injuries, high level CSE and multifaceted immigration issues.
