Jonathan has specialised in family law since he qualified as a solicitor and he previously worked at Slater and Gordon Lawyers. Jonathan acts for clients on a variety of family law matters and is known for his personal approach. He is particularly focused on his client’s needs.
Jonathan ensures that he understands his client’s objectives at the outset, so that the advice provided is clear and to the point. He endeavours to provide the best possible service to his clients and he is contactable out of office hours.
He has been instructed in high value and complex cases and has handled cases with assets over £1m. He has experience in resolving financial disputes following relationship breakdown where there is a family business, shareholdings and high value pensions. Jonathan also represents parents who are often locked into fraught and highly contentious residence and child contact disputes. He is experienced in advising parties in intractable and alienated parent cases, some involving allegations of addiction, emotional, physical or sexual abuse.
His expertise includes: Financial Orders on divorce/civil partnership dissolution; Children Act Schedule 1; financial relief after overseas divorce/civil partnership dissolution; drafting pre and post-nuptial agreements; TOLATA cases between cohabitees and complex private Children Act proceedings. He is a member of Resolution, a national organisation of family lawyers.
