How We Charge | Payment Options | McAlister Family Law

How we charge

We offer our clients a number of flexible funding options to suit your needs and budget.

“The greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it.”

Putting the control

in your hands

At McAlister Family Law we aware that the biggest complaint about divorce and family lawyers relates to fees and charges. We have moved away from the “big law firm” focus on fees and instead offer our clients a number of flexible funding options to suit your needs and budget. As our client, we will provide you with a choice as to how your matter will be funded moving forward. Whether you are seeking an initial case assessment to understand your options before you instruct, a fixed fee divorce or one-off representation for a court hearing, we will be able to put together the right funding package for you.

We will always remain true to our values and ensure that there are no surprises or unexpected charges. Just certainty and a promise that what is billed was expected. At our first meeting, we will discuss with you costs and which option would be the most appropriate for your case. We will also provide you with a copy of our firms’ price guide for consideration.
